BGYO and BINI promise more surprising performances for the second day of their 'One Dream' concert on Sunday, November 7

P-pop groups BGYO and BINI are definitely making a mark in the industry with their highly-anticipated debut sibling concert, “One Dream.”

On Saturday, November 6, the almost two-hour spectacle was a culmination of their growth thus far, as they performed a combination of their famous covers from pre-debut up to their newest releases.

The first night of the two-day concert series was divided into three parts – BINI’s stage, followed by BGYO’s, and then the collaborative stage of the two groups.

With their bright-eyed smiles and trademark youthful vibes, BINI opened the “One Dream” concert with their debut single “Born To Win.”

It was followed by their own renditions of “Unbound,” which was originally sung by Marion Aunor, and KZ Tandingan’s “Impossible.” KZ then makes an appearance as she collaborates with BINI for the tracks “Labo” and “Marupok.”

Aside from their well-loved covers, BINI also amazed BLOOMs with their energy-driven performances for singles “Kapit Lang” and “Magdamag.”

Meanwhile, “8,” the ballad from their latest album Born To Win, highlighted the group’s stable vocals.

BGYO then takes center stage as they perform their debut single “The Light.”

It was also followed by the boy group’s renditions of Gary Valenciano’s “Hataw Na” and Loisa Andalio’s “Sasamahan Kita.” Like BINI’s covers, these renditions were already fan favorites even before both P-pop groups made their official debut.

Guest AC Bonifacio then collaborated with BGYO for an impressive dance number. She also treated viewers with a live performance of her recently released single “Fool No Mo,” which was followed by a duo performance with BGYO member Nate which left viewers feeling kilig.

BGYO also surprised ACEs when they performed the songs “Fly Away” and “Kulay” live for the first time in the concert.

While both groups’ individual stages are full of noteworthy performances, it was their unexpected collaborations that left viewers absolutely speechless.

For the first unit stage, the vocalists, BINI Jhoanna, Maloi, Colet, and Gwen, and BGYO’s JL and Akira, showcased their singing prowess through their soothing cover of BoybandPH and Jona’s single “Till The End of Time.”

It was then followed by an explosive stage from the rap line – BGYO’s Mikki and BINI’s Stacey and Aiah. The unit stages ended with BINI Sheena and Mikha and BGYO’s Gelo and Nate’s dynamic dance performances.

As the concert came to a close, the two groups performed K-pop covers – TWICE’s “Yes or Yes” for BINI, and BTS’ “On” for BGYO. Based on the comments and tweets, the K-pop covers brought fans back to the group’s pre-debut era.

The nostalgia intensified when BINI and BGYO performed “Da Coconut Nut” for their finale stage.

From start to finish, both BINI and BGYO’s energy never waned. And up to the last performance, they invited fans to watch the second day of the concert on Sunday, November 7, promising even more surprising numbers.

With BGYO and BINI’s all-out performances, it was easy to forget that the two P-pop groups are only less than a year old (BGYO debuted in January, BINI in July).

But if this was the production they could pull off as rookies, then we’re excited to see what they can offer on a bigger stage. – Rappler.com
