“‘Love’ is the main theme for SEVENTEEN’s music this year. Wonwoo shared that as rappers for SEVENTEEN, they’re happy to be given the opportunity to work in a different style for this digital single. “We’re responsible for rapping, so it was a new challenge for us to complete a song by singing the majority of it,” he said.

Wonwoo and Mingyu are the latest SEVENTEEN members who released digital singles in 2021. In February, member Jun released “Crow” and “Silent Boarding Gate,” followed by members Hoshi with “Spider” and The8 with “Side by Side” in April 2021.

Additionally, Mingyu teased fans that other members might form new units and combinations for future music releases. “The type of sound and charms that we’ll be able to show our fans [is] quite infinite. I’m looking forward to seeing more new units from SEVENTEEN in the future myself,” he added.

SEVENTEEN is a 13-member boy group under PLEDIS Entertainment. They debuted in May 2015 and are known for hits “Don’t Wanna Cry,” “Very Nice,” and “Home; Run.”

The group is currently gearing up for the release of their eighth mini-album Your Choice in June. – Rappler.com
