"Fun fact, at the end of the video,  you’ll see a group of about 100 fans. Those are people who we plucked from Instagram, Twitter, website, letters , everywhere and they kept a secret that they were in this video for 2 months," she said.

"People can say whatever they want about us, at any time and we cannot control that. The only thing we can control is our reaction to it," she says, saying that she opts to just "shake it off."

“I stay out too late / got nothing in my brain / that’s what people say … I go on too many dates / but I can’t make them stay / at least that’s what people say,” go the lyrics.

“Just think, while you’ve been getting down and out about the liars and the dirty, dirty cheats of the world, you could have been getting down to this sick beat,” she also points out in the video.

The video was directed by Mark Romanek, who was also the director behind Jay-Z’s  “99 Problems,” and Madonna’s “Rain.”
