P-pop sensation SB19 is set to conclude their month-long third anniversary celebration with their two-day concert “Our Zone,” which is set on November 27 and 28.

Serving as the third installment of their “Zone” concert series, SB19 promised fans that the upcoming anniversary concert will be a culmination of their growth over their fruitful three-year career.

Three years na po kami sa industriya kaya we want to talk about ‘the Zone’ itself. Noong una, ‘yung ‘Get In The Zone,’ growing palang po kami noon, hinahanap pa namin ‘yung sarili namin, experimenting pa kung saan kami babagay at sa mga genres na gagawin. ‘Yung ‘Back In The Zone’ naman, matagal kasi kaming nag-rest dahil sa pandemic, nabago ‘yung mga plano, kaya ‘yun ‘yung naging comeback namin. Pero itong ‘Our Zone,’ papakita na namin kung ano ‘yung nasa loob ng Zone,” Pablo said in an online conference on Tuesday, November 23.

(We’ve been in the industry for three years now and we now want to talk about “the Zone.” Our first concert, “Get In The Zone,” we were still growing and finding our footing in the industry – experimenting on our sound. Meanwhile, our second concert, “Back In The Zone,” serves as our comeback, since we were coming from a long rest and change of plans because of the pandemic. Now, in this concert, “Our Zone,” we’ll show them what we got.)

“Get In The Zone” happened in December 2019. It was supposed to be a nationwide concert tour but was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Their second concert, “Back In The Zone,” was streamed online in August 2021.

While their upcoming “Our Zone” concert will still remain as a digital concert, SB19 will be performing live from the Araneta Coliseum – which, according to the boys, was a dream come true for them.

Josh said, “Super overwhelming and happy that it’s finally happening. Matutuloy na kami sa Araneta. Dati, nangangarap lang kami na makapag-perform doon…. At kahit hindi pa pwede ang live audience, at least nandoon kami sa stage na ‘yon.”

(We’re finally performing in Araneta. We used to only dream of this…. And while it’s sad that live audiences are still not allowed, we’re happy that we’re still on that stage.)

Stell agreed that the upcoming concert sees them come full circle. “As a performer, sobrang nag-grow kami. Before, kapag nagpe-prepare kami, matagal kasi wala pa kaming tunog. Pero ngayon, nahanap na talaga namin ‘yung sound ng SB19, ‘yung identity, kaya alam na namin ‘yung kaya naming ibigay,” he said.

(As performers, we’ve grown a lot. Before, it took so long for us to prepare. But now, we already found our sound, our identity as SB19. It’s easier for us since we know our strengths and what we can provide.)

The five-member group also teased A’TIN, their fans, that they’re performing three unreleased tracks at the concert and hinted at new choreographies and arrangements for their previous releases. The two-day concert will also have different set lists and guest performers.

“We made sure na may makikita silang bago, hindi lang ‘yung previous na nalabas namin. ‘Yung mga bagong kanta, talagang ginawa namin siya for the third anniversary. At nag-decide kami to perform it live first,” Pablo said.

(We made sure that our fans will see something new in the concert, not just our previous releases. And all the new songs were specifically made for our third anniversary so we decided to perform it live first.)

But what they’re most excited about is having a virtual audience for the concert. “It’s another level for us. ‘Yung makita lang talaga ‘yung cheer ng A’TIN, talagang nakaka-level up siya ng performances (Just to see the cheers from our A’TIN, it really gives us the energy to level up our performances),” Justin said. – Rappler.com
