TWICE confirms June comeback

TWICE is releasing an album this June.

According to entertainment portal Soompi, JYP entertainment confirmed the news on Monday, April 19. “[TWICE] is preparing to make a comeback aimed for June. They are currently filming their music video on Jeju island. The detailed schedule will be announced later when confirmed,” the agency said. 

Shortly after the announcement, several TWICE-related phrases topped PH trends as fans anticipated the full-group comeback. Jeongyeon took a hiatus during the promotions for their album Eyes Wide Open, which was released in October 2020. 

TWICE is a nine-member girl group under JYP Entertainment that debuted in October 2015. They are known for hits “Cheer Up,” “More and More” and “I Can’t Stop Me.” Aside from their Korean comeback, TWICE is set to release their Japanese single “Kura Kura” this May 2021. - Rappler.com
