WATCH: Music video for new Eraserheads song ‘1995’

MANILA, Philippines - Fans of the Eraserheads, check this out.

After the release of the video “Sabado” last September 11, the group has released another new music video, this time for the song “1995," Monday, September 22. The video was directed by filmmaker Erik Matti, who aso did "Sabado." 

“1995” is the second of the two new songs released with the September issue of Esquire magazine. In the video, all four members are featured in a collage-like background with the scene ending at the Oblation statue at the University of The Philippines, until it fades to black. (READ: The Eraserheads: Coming full circle)

Last September 4, the members of Eraserheads gathered together to play for the magazine’s launch held at a hotel in Makati City. Songs they played include “Magasin,” “Sembreak,” and “Alapaap.” (READ: Memories of the madness: Eraserheads and new music)

The biggest group of the ’90s, the Eraserheads, composed of Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Raymund Marasigan, and Marcus Aldoro rose to fame with the album Ultraelectromagneticpop! and is known for songs such as “Pare Ko,” “Ligaya,” and “Ang Huling El Bimbo.”  – Rappler.com
