MANILA, Philippines – Zack Tabudlo’s song “Binibini” dominated Spotify’s 2021 charts, emerging as the most streamed song in the Philippines.

The song has been raking in the streams since its release in March. It is also included in Zack’s debut album, Episode.

Spotify released its annual Spotify Wrapped campaign on December 2, and shared some of the data it gathered throughout 2021.

Ranking the platform’s most streamed songs in the country, BTS’ “Butter” takes the second spot, while Olivia Rodrigo’s “driver’s license” comes in third. Pink Sweat$’s “At My Worst” ranked fourth, and rounding out the top five is Silk Sonic’s “Leave the Door Open.”

Ben&Ben emerged as the top streamed local artist for the second year in a row, trailed by Moira dela Torre, Skusta Clee, Zack Tabudlo, and Arthur Nery in the top five.

“Binibini” and Zack’s other single “Nangangamba” also came out as the top two most repeated local songs, while Pinoy hip-hop artists rounded out the top five with songs like “Pauwi Nako” by PDL, Flow G, Skusta Clee, and Yuridope, and Skusta Clee’s “Dance With You” and “Lagi.”

When it comes to K-pop, the ARMY proved to be in full force – BTS emerged as the top streamed K-pop artist in the Philippines, followed by TWICE, BLACKPINK, IU, and SEVENTEEN.
