The IV of Spades bassist releases more solo material

IV of Spades bassist Zild has released more solo material – this time, in the form of a new single, “Kyusi,” which dropped early on Wednesday, February 10.

Zild talked about the song’s nostalgic value, saying “’Kyusi’ is a song that takes me back to my 18-year-old self, experiencing teenage love for the very first time.”

“It also is a song about acceptance… in fact, I find that with the new songs I am writing, I finally overcame my fear of telling specific, personal stories – this is me being honest, at peace with my personal experiences and attempting to relate my personal experiences to the listeners. These stories are damaging, funny and peaceful all at the same time,” the 23-year-old singer shared.

The track is a follow-up to Zild’s solo debut album, Homework Machine, released in August 2020. It was released on various digital platforms, with a music video released via YouTube. It is his first release under Rico Blanco’s Balcony Entertainment.
