PH musicians band together to create song for OFWs
MANILA, Philippines – Pinoy musicians Sponge Cola, ItchyWorms, Kjwan, Ebe Dancel and Mikey Bustos are working together to create a special gift for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) hard at work abroad. The musicians are creating a special song to be released soon.
According to the release, the song also features crowd-sourced lyrics from Pinoys in the Philippines and overseas. Joined by the Blas F. Ople Center, the musicians, with Google Philippines, announced the project at a press conference Wednesday, August 5.
Musicians also called on Pinoys everywhere to contribute to the song, using the hashtag #GoogleMissKoNa:
