Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry not invited to Jennifer Aniston’s wedding
Chandler and Joey from 'Friends' say they weren't invited to Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's wedding

MANILA, Philippines – Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux surprised us with news of their secret wedding on August 5 – and apparently, so were Jen’s Friends castmates Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry.

In an interview with People at the Television Critics Association event on August 11 (US time), Matt and Matthew said that they weren’t invited to the wedding. The two played Joey Tribbiani and Chandler Bing on Friends, respectively.

“I think they’re a great couple. I think she’s happy. And that’s all I care about is that Jen’s happy,” said Matt. “If she wanted me there, I would have been there.” Matt couldn’t make it to Jen’s first wedding in 2000 with Brad Pitt either, because he was working in Austria.

Matt assured Entertainment Tonight, though, that there were no hard feelings among the former Friends stars. “Everybody is okay,” he said. “The girls were there. You’ve got to have the girls there.” Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox, who played Phoebe and Monica on the show, were at the wedding. Courteney was even the maid of honor. Matt added that the wedding was small, which was probably why they weren’t invited.

Matthew echoed Matt’s sentiments and told People that although he wasn’t invited, he’s happy for the couple. “It was a surprise to me as well… They’re a lovely couple, and I’m happy for them,” he said. – Rappler.com
