Jason Momoa cancels Manila visit
MANILA, Philippines – Sorry Game of Thrones fans, Khal Drogo won't be able to meet you in Manila.
Jason Momoa was previously set to appear at the local edition of the Asia Pop Comicon to be held this September 17 to 20 at the World Trade Center.
In a Facebook post, the organizers announced that the actor will no longer be able to attend the event "due to last minute filming schedule conflict."
He has recently signed on to star in the action thriller Braven, US entertainment outlets say.
Jason's most popular role to date is the towering Dothraki warlord Khal Drogo in the frist season of popular HBO series Game of Thrones.
News previously leaked about the actor's entry into the DC Cinematic Universe as Aquaman, ahead of an intended later announcement.
Jason can't make it, but you can still catch the other celebrity guests at APCC, including Arrow's Colton Haynes, America's Next Top Model's Allison Harvard, and Avengers: Age of Ultron's Paul Bettany. – Rappler.com
