Rebel Wilson on her comments about Kardashians, asks for ‘smear campaign’ to stop
This, after her previous comments that the Kardashians 'seem a bit superficial, and their careers are not really based on talent'

MANILA, Philippines – Rebel Wilson is speaking up about the Kardashians again, following previous comments she’s made about the famous family.

On November 12, Rebel spoke up on Twitter, saying that she’s more than happy to put all this behind her.

She ended her series on a positive note though, wishing the Kardashians well, and saying that she “even sent them flowers.”

Rebel made headlines on November 5, when she shared on an Australian radio show that she refused to present an award at the MTV VMAs with Kendall and Kylie Jenner. She followed it up by saying that the Kardashians “seem a bit superficial, and their careers are not really based on talent.” (READ: Rebel Wilson says she refused to present with Kendall, Kylie Jenner at VMAs)

People have since voiced out their opinions on the what Rebel said, including Oprah Winfrey.

On the same radio show later that week, Oprah defended the Kardashians, saying that the Kardashians do work hard, based on her interview with them two years ago. “See, people don’t understand that to – people think that, ‘Oh, the television cameras are just following you,’ then you know, that’s just easy,” said Oprah.

“[But] to really create a reality series that looks like something’s actually happening, it means you have to be on all the time. So I was there to film them as a whole family, and I couldn’t believe how hard they worked, because we were there for 7 hours and they were gonna tape another 7 hours after I left. No matter who you are, that is work.”
