Box office update: MMFF 2015 films earn P468 million in 4 days
MANILA, Philippines – The Metro Manila Film Festival committee announced on Tuesday, December 29, that its movies have grossed P468 million for the first 4 days since the festival opened on December 25.
In a Facebook post, the MMFF committee said that in no particular order, My Bebe Love, Beauty and the Bestie, All You Need Is Pag-ibig, and Haunted Mansion remain the top 4 earners out of the 8 films.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Marichu Vera Perez-Maceda said that My Bebe Love and Beauty and the Bestie are P1 million apart in terms of earnings as of 2 pm of Tuesday. She did not disclose the specific figures for each film.
On December 26, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Emerson Carlos told Rappler that all 8 films earned a total of P271 million on the first two days of the festival. (READ: MMFF 2015 movies hit P271 million mark)
The MMFF is a project of the MMDA.
