Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera mark first wedding anniversary

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera greet each other a happy first wedding anniversary on Wednesday, December 30.

Late on December 30, Marian posted a photo of her and Dingdong’s wedding, with a message about how thankful she was for their marriage: “Ang sarap alalahanin ang araw na ito kung saan sa harap ng Panginoon, ikaw ay aking pinangakuang mahalin, aalagan, at pagsilbihan hangga’t ako’y nabubuhay – sa hirap at ginhawa. Isang biyaya ng pagmamahalan na habambuhay kong ipagpapasalamat. Happy anniversary, mahal ko. I Love You!”

(It feels so good to remember this day, where, in front of the Lord, I promised to love you, take care of you, and serve you for as long as I live – in sickness and in health. It’s a blessing of love that I will be thankful for all my life. Happy anniversary, my love. I love you!)

Earlier, Dingdong posted an Instagram photo of Marian in her wedding dress, accompanied by the lyrics of the song “Mestizang Caviteña,” which he performed during their wedding last year.

On December 30, 2014, the couple was married at Immaculate Conception Church in Cubao, witnessed by family and friends. President Benigno Aquino III was a special guest.
