Pregnant Anne Hathaway posts bikini photo

MANILA, Philippines – Following reports of her pregnancy last November, actress Anne Hathaway finally confirmed the news by releasing a photo of herself in a bikini, showing off her baby bump. 

The photo was posted on her Instagram account on Monday, January 4.

In the caption, Anne greeted everyone Happy 2016, then explained that the paparazzi were trying to grab photos of her at the beach. 

Instead of letting them try to take discreet photos and having them sell the photos to news groups and gossip sites, she decided to pose for one and release it herself.

“So, posting a bikini pic is a little out of character for me, but just now while I was at the beach I noticed I was being photographed,” she wrote. “I figure if this kind of photo is going to be out in the world it should at least be an image that makes me happy (and be one that was taken with my consent. And with a filter.)”

Anne was reported to be in her second trimester in November. This is her first child with husband and producer Adam Shulman.
