Idina Menzel approves of Channing Tatum’s ‘Let It Go’ lip sync

MANILA, Philippines – Channing Tatum’s “Let It Go” performance on Lip Sync Battle‘s January 7 episode, including Queen Elsa herself, Idina Menzel. (READ: Channing Tatum performs with Beyonce on ‘Lip Sync Battle’)

On January 7, Idina sent out a tweet saying that she’d be missing Channing’s performance of the Frozen song, “Let It Go” when it airs, so she’d have to record it.

Idina, who voiced Elsa in the Disney movie, replied, saying: “I got chills! And not because I’m an ice queen. You made me proud.”

Channing’s lip sync of “Let It Go” on January 7 had him twirling around in a blue dress, accompanied by backup dancers dressed as snowflakes.

“Let It Go” was one of Channing’s lip sync performances out of two in that episode – he also performed “Who Run the World (Girls)” with none other than Beyonce herself.

He battled it out with his wife, Jenna Dewan Tatum, whose lip sync of Channing as his character in the male stripper movie Magic Mike has also been making the rounds on social media.

Channing and Jenna’s Lip Sync Battle episode was the first of season two.
