IN PHOTOS: Solenn Heussaff, Dennis Trillo hop on bikes to lead outdoor movie event

MANILA, Philippines – Before the sun set on the University of the Philippines-Diliman (UP) campus on Friday, January 29, actors Solenn Heussaff and Dennis Trillo hopped on their bikes and led hundreds of bikers around campus.

It wasn’t a usual sight, but the occasion called for it – they were opening the outdoor premiere of their movie, Lakbay2Love.

In the film, Lianne (Solenn), a French-Filipino videographer, is still hurting from a tough breakup, set around the time of Yolanda, and also dealing with loneliness and painful memories. To help her heal, a friend convinces her to take on a project centering on biking and the environment. She meets JR (Dennis), an environmentalist, and romance blooms.

Joining them on January 29 were biking groups UP Bike Share and the Firefly Brigade.

There were also performances by Joey Ayala, Gig Manila, ‘lil Noizy, The Ransom Collective, Oh Flamingo, and Dennis and Solenn themselves.
