WATCH: Alden Richards, Maine Mendoza’s fun Tagaytay road trip

MANILA, Philippines –  It looks like it’s most definitely great fun to go on a road trip with the adorable twosome that’s Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza. 

In a video posted on Maine’s YouTube account, the two were seen having fun on their way to Tagaytay for the Eat Bulaga Kalyeserye Valentine’s Day special last February 13. The two goofed off while stuck on traffic, stopped by McDonalds (they are endorsers of the fast food chain), and took turns driving the car.

Some fans also took photos of them and Maine at one point got out of the car and started to dance. She and Alden also made funny faces on-screen.

In last week’s episode, Alden sought the permission of Lola Nidora (played by Wally Bayola) to take Maine’s character Yaya Dub out on a date. 

AlDub’s tandem rose to fame last July, when Maine, who was introduced in the show, inadvertently saw Alden watching her on-screen. Unable to hide her quick smile (everyone saw that instant chemistry), she’s since become a regular on the kalyeserye, with her storyline with Alden unfolding slowly throughout the course of the show. Since then, their tandem has become a phenomenal hit. They were also seen in the movie My Bebe Love starring Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai delas Alas. – Rappler.com
