MANILA, Philippines – The Academy Awards were held on Sunday, February 28 (Monday, February 29 in Manila) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The movie Mad Max: Fury Road was the big winner, taking home 6 awards in total, while Spotlight won Best Picture.

Leonardo DiCaprio won the Best Actor award for his role in the movie The Revenant. Meanwhile, actress Brie Larson took home the Best Actress award for her performance in Room.
