Ariana Grande pulls off Jennifer Lawrence impression in ‘SNL’ skit
Ariana pretends to be Jennifer Lawrence in a 'Celebrity Family Feud' skit on 'Saturday Night Live'

MANILA, Philippines – Ariana Grande showed how she could be a master of impressions on Saturday Night Live, and busted out her comedic chops during the episode that she hosted on March 12.

Once a Nickelodeon star and Broadway actress, Ariana mimicked several celebrities. She sang as Britney Spears, Shakira, Rihanna, and more in a Tidal skit, and she also pretended to be Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence in a Celebrity Family Feud actors-versus-directors game.

Sporting a blonde wig, Ariana pulled off a spot-on impression of J-Law, with her trademark raspy voice, and said, “They told me not to do a game show, but I was like, screw it. I can have fun. I’m a regular person.”

She went against Quentin Tarantino (Taran Killam), as she answered host Steve Harvey (Kenan Thompson)’s question, “Name a bad habit that you just can’t quit.”

“I’m just like a snack-oholic. I love Pringles. If no one is looking, I’ll eat like a whole can. Like, every day is my cheat day – you know what I mean,” said Ariana as Jennifer, prompting Steve to respond, “How annoyingly relatable.”

Fortunately, the songstress wins her round with 45% of the survey respondents agreeing.

Kate McKinnon as Tilda Swinton, Beck Bennett as Javier Bardem, and Jay Pharaoh as Idris Elba join Ariana on the actors’ team. On the directors’ side, there are SNL cast members Taran Killam as Tarantino, Bobby Moynihan as Kevin Smith, Kyle Mooney as Woody Allen, and Jon Rudnitsky as Martin Scorsese.
