Ariana Grande is spot on as Britney Spears, Rihanna, Whitney Houston in ‘SNL’ skit
Ariana Grande nails her impressions of Britney Spears, Rihanna, Shakira, Celine Dion, and Whitney Houston in a 'SNL' skit parodying Tidal

MANILA, Philippines – Ariana Grande showed off her powerful pipes once again in doing spot-on impressions of other pop stars. (WATCH: Ariana Grande does amazing impressions of Britney, Christina, Celine)

In a skit for Saturday Night Live (SNL), Ariana plays a wide-eyed intern named Chloe who works for streaming app Tidal’s headquarters. Suddenly, systems break down, and its up to Chloe to save the day.

“Tidal cannot afford another glitch! What do we do!?” says a panicking supervisor played by Kenan Thompson, as the Britney Spears stream goes down.

Bobby Moynihan, playing an employee, says, “Sir, I heard Chloe the intern singing some Britney Spears in the hallway.”

“Chloe, the future of Tidal is in your hands!” says Kenan, before Ariana busts out her spot-on Britney impression, singing “Baby One More Time.”

However, a succession of glitches occurs. The Shakira stream fails, and the Tidal staff asks Chloe for help once again, mistaking her to be of Hispanic descent.

“That’s a common mistake, I’m actually just very, very Italian,” says Ariana as Chloe, before trying her hand at a sultry rendition of Shakira’s “Whenever, Wherever,” complete with hip shaking. The staff even boogies along.

In a meta moment, the Ariana Grande stream fails, too. Chloe comments, “Sorry, not a big fan.”

Watch some excerpts from the skit here:

When the Rihanna stream fails, Chloe steps up with a bit of grinding as she sings “Work.”

The control room rejoices, but not for long: “I got bad news, boss. The ’90s Divas playlist is glitching!”

But Chloe saves everyone’s behinds, doing a hilarious but accurate mimicry of Celine Dion singing “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now.” She even blurts out, “Shall we go for it,” in a French-Canadian accent à la Celine.

Ariana shines through with her Whitney Houston impersonation, slaying it with her take on “I Will Always Love You.” The streams come back on with Ariana hitting the power ballad’s high notes. (WATCH: Ariana Grande sings Whitney Houston song in Manila concert)

“You did it, Chloe. Jay-Z would be proud,” says the supervisor, as an employee, played by Jay Pharaoh, reveals himself to be Jay-Z in disguise.

“Yo, Chloe, you single-handedly just saved Tidal.” says Jay-Z, before barking orders at Chloe to pick up coffees, as any stereotypical intern would.
