'Anybody could make an account and pretend to be the 'biggest fan' and pretend to be somebody then start saying bad things and make up bad stories about other people,' Maine writes

MANILA, Philippines – Maine Mendoza, known as Yaya Dub on Eat Bulaga‘s kalyseserye, recently defended her on-screen partner Alden Richards against online trolls.

On her blog entry dated Appril 4, Maine wrote: ” People have been accusing SMU (Solid Maine United) for showing violent hate towards Alden Richards and/or other artists. No, those people are not really part of the group, they are claiming to be part just so people could put the blame on them–us.”

She also gave a tip to her supporters. “Always keep in mind, just because this certain basher’s Twitter name has the initials of any group does not mean they are a member of it. Anybody could make an account and pretend to be the “biggest fan” of somebody then start saying bad things and make up bad stories about other people.”

Maine also wrote that her followers should just ignore and avoid these people who she described as “toxic.”

“Demolition is as easy and simple as that. Do not be deceived,” she said ending the blog entry with a quote by Cris Jami.

The post is part of her birthday entry, where in she thanked her family and supporters for throwing a Coachella themed party last month, during her 21st birthday.

Aside from the Coachella themed party, Maine was also given a birthday special in Eat Bulaga. AlDub fans were thrilled when Alden kissed her on the lips
