MANILA, Philippines – Maisie Williams, aka Arya Stark on Game of Thrones, once pranked customers at a gaming store to give out awesome freebies. Now, she has turned up as a special guest at a viewing party organized by a bunch of unsuspecting fans.
Before season 6 premiered in the US on April 24, Sunday (April 25 in Manila), Maisie sent an exciting announcement via Twitter, looking for viewing parties near the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). (READ: 'Game of Thrones' season 6 premiere recap: 'The Red Woman')
"The team will be sending out goodie bags to a special viewing party tonight at 8:30pm," she tweeted. "If you're in the LA area, and want to be in with a chance of getting picked, send your 'setting up' party pictures to #GameofThrones."

UCLA helped in spreading the awesome news through their own Twitter:
The university's Twitter also made a witty announcement: "Is 'No One' in Westeroswood?"
"No One" is a reference to the Faceless Men, which Arya is currently in the company of in Braavos, and "Westeroswood" is Westwood, UCLA's neighborhood, and Westeros combined in one name.
Maisie documented the fun occasion in a series of Instagram posts.
"I wanted to find some unsuspecting fans and surprise them with drinks and snacks before the premiere episode tonight," she wrote in her first post.
It seemed like the themed food won Maisie over.
She dropped by the supermarket to buy some extra snacks for the party – although she mentioned that they already had Game of Thrones-themed grub.
Finally she arrived at Marc's apartment, and needless to say, they were thrilled.
Maisie revealed that she was turning up as a surprise to Marc's friends. "He would enter first declaring that they had won the GoT swag (this was a ploy we made up to throw people off the scent) and I would follow after hoping and praying that everyone would actually recognize me," she wrote in her Instagram story.
Finally, Maisie arrives to deliver the goodies. "HBO brought us some goodies! We won," announces Marc to his friends, before Maisie left them all stunned, as "HBO" was Arya Stark herself.
She shared a photo of this poll board regarding Jon Snow's fate, but she was definitely outnumbered as she voted for "dead."
She also helped herself to their snacks. "I went there to surprise them with snacks, but when I got there, I found myself trying one of every single snack they had made," she wrote.
Maisie joined the party when they were catching up with the season 5 finale.
"We all giggled nervously as we took pictures during the famous 'shame' scene," she said about Cersei Lannister's walk of atonement scene. "Thanks to [Marc], Kate and company for having us in your lovely flat. Enjoy the rest of Season 6."

She particularly loved the dragon egg-shaped cookies they made.
