MANILA, Philippines – Theater actress and singer Cris Villonco married businessman Paolo Valderrama on Saturday, April 30 at the Santuario de San Antonio Parish, Makati.

Cris, granddaughter of veteran actress Armida Seguion-Reyna and niece of director Carlos Seguion-Reyna, wore a wedding gown by Elie Saab. Her reception dress was made by Filipino designer Lesley Mobo.

A designer named Elie, a lady named Felicia, a milliner called @michdulce and a shoemaker, Manolo. Two of them don’t know me, but all 4 changed my life. It started with a dream dress on a website, a Sex and the City wedding fantasy and a surprise Aha moment with a fascinator for the love of Duchess Kate. I’ve dreamt of this shoe ever since it was THE engagement shoe in the movie. Both mother and mother in law gave me the confidence to get them. There were many dresses, but Felicia was fierce. She told me not to settle for anything less. She made sure everything was in order–cut and tailored before carefully packing it in this humongous handcarry. I didn’t know that you are to never ever check in your wedding gown. You must inform the airline ahead of time that you are to bring it with you onboard (ladies, take note). So here I am lugging this thing that could fit a full grown person. As for Mich, she deserves a separate post. But to these four…thank you.

Cris has also appeared in a number of TV shows such as Ang Lihim ni Annasandra  and Maalaala Mo Kaya. She has also appeared in her grandmother’s show Aawitan Kita. 

Paolo meanwhile is the younger brother of theater actress Shiela Valderrama-Martinez. 

Among the showbiz personalities present at the wedding were Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworksi, Rachel Alejandro, Ciara Sotto, Franco Laurel, and Ayen Munji-Laurel.
