MANILA, Philippines – Broadway’s biggest stars, including our very own Lea Salonga, gathered at the The New York Pops’ 33rd Birthday Gala, May 2, Monday (May 3, Tuesday in Manila) at New York’s Carnegie Hall. This year’s edition of the gala honors Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, the creators of popular musicals such as Les Misérables and Miss Saigon.
