WATCH: Girl charms coaches with Michael Jackson tune on 'The Voice Kids' PH
MANILA, Philippines – A 6-year-old kid from Quezon City charmed the coaches on The Voice Kids, Sunday, June 26 with her rendition of Michael Jackson's "Music and Me."
All 3 coaches – Lea Salonga, Bamboo, and Sharon Cuneta – turned their chairs for Waynehart Claire Geonzon, whose voice they described as "Pure, honest, clear, sweet."
Claire gave each of the coaches her own drawings. Sharon thanked Claire saying in her eyes, she looked like a "diyosa (goddess)."
Sharon praised Claire for her confidence. "Alam mo, pagharap ko sa 'yo, nakita ko 'yung confidence mo na nakatayo ka lang kasi alam mong tatamaan mo lahat ng nota. Alam mo, 'di ba? Relaxed na relaxed ka lang."
(You know, when I turned my chair to you, I saw your confidence as you stood there as if you knew that you would hit all the right notes. You knew, right? You're just very relaxed.)
Lea, meanwhile, told Claire that her voice was clear and simple, saying that everyone can understand her. "Kailangan niyo ba kami? Superstar ka na eh."
(Do you even need us? You're a superstar already.)
Bamboo thanked Claire for the drawing and commented that there's "a sweetness to your voice."
Claire ended up choosing Lea to be her coach.
