WATCH: New JaDine series ‘Till I Met You’ trailer released

MANILA, Philippines – Following the success of their romantic comedy series On the Wings of Love, reel-to-real couple James Reid and Nadine Lustre are set to star in another series, titled Till I Met You. (READ: How James Reid and Nadine Lustre became an official couple)

The show’s first trailer, which was first screened on ABS-CBN’s trade show on June 28, hints at a possible LGBT love triangle, where a boy named Alejandro (JC Santos) is in love with James’ character, Basti. (IN PHOTOS: James Reid, Nadine Lustre share sweet moments at ‘OTWOL’ finale viewing)

The trailer shows the onscreen couple getting ready on the day of their wedding, as in a typical wedding video. Basti and Iris (Nadine) are in separate rooms, telling the person behind their camera about how they met.

“I’ve fallen in love with my best friend,” they both say at one point, echoing each others sentiments.

Iris receives a wedding gift from Basti, then Iris explains that their good friend Alejandro introduced them. “Actually, siya [si Alejandro] yung ideal man ko talaga, pero hindi ako yung ideal girl niya eh,” said Iris about Alejandro. “May iba ata siyang gusto.”

(Actually, he’s [Alejandro] my ideal man, but I’m not his ideal girl. I think he likes someone else.)

Alejandro then hands Basti a gift – but instead of it coming from Iris, the card reads that it’s to Basti from Alejandro.

The trailer’s voiceover then asks, “Sa paglantad ng itinatagong pagmamahal will #‎lovewin?” (As a hidden love is revealed, will love win?) as a rainbow colored hashtag, “#LoveWins?,” appears.

The hashtag is repeated in the video’s caption on Facebook.

Till I Met You is directed by Antoinette Jadaone, the same woman behind On the Wings of Love.
