IN PHOTOS: Stars at Leni Robredo’s thanksgiving party

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – After the inauguration of vice president Leni Robredo Thursday, June 30, there was a thanksgiving party later in the evening for her supporters.

There were many popular performers at the party, among them Darren Espanto, Sam Concepcion, Moonstar88, the stars of Rak of Aegis, Callalily, and many more. 

Darren Espanto posted a few photos of the event venue before he went onstage. He was the first act at Leni’s thanksgiving party.

Up next was Sam Concepcion who was later joined by Tippy dos Santos for a duet of “Dati.”

 

Erik Santos then serenaded the crowd before vice president Leni Robredo went up onstage to address the crowd.

After Leni thanked her supporters and showed videos of testimonials from different sectors, Bituin Escalante went onstage to sing “Bayan Ko.”

The cast of Rak of Aegis performed OPM hits before Tanghalang Pilipino performed a piece from Mabining Mandirigma.

 

The singers that entertained the crowd after were the Philippine Opera Company, Timmy Pavino, Baihana, Agot Isidro, Jamie Rivera, and Kyla.

 

Gracenote also rocked the stage, as well as 5th Gen and Moonstar88.

 

 

The Company also serenaded the crowd before Callalily.

 

Actor John Arcilla went onstage too, right before all the performers that night came together to sing the national anthem.
