WATCH: Which of Melissa McCarthy’s past characters would she have a beer with?
Is it Susan Cooper from 'Bridesmaids,' Shannon Mullins from 'The Heat,' or her latest character, Abby, from 'Ghostbusters?'

MANILA, Philippines – Melissa McCarthy has played a whole host of characters with quirky personalities, all of whom would have been fun to be friends with had they been real people.

And while we have our favorites, Melissa herself weighed in on which of her characters she’d most like to have a beer with.

“You know what, I love Susan Cooper so much, from Spy. And I would like to see Susan drunk,” she told Rappler in an interview for the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot.

“I would do anything to put me back with Susan and Miranda,” she added, referring to Miranda Hart, who she co-starred with in Spy.

Meanwhile, Paul Feig, who directed Spy and Ghostbusters, pitched in that he’d love to have a drink with Sookie, Melissa’s lovable chef character from the series Gilmore Girls.

“I feel like Sookie has like 3 sips and she may be hammered,” Melissa said, laughing, to which Paul replied, “Yeah, exactly. She’s a cheap date.”

Melissa also took the time to talk about her newest character, Abby, the ringleader in Ghostbusters.

Some of Melissa’s characters were old ones brought back to life – Michelle Darnell from The Boss, for instance, was born years ago at The Groundlings sketch comedy theater – but she and Paul said that Abby is entirely new.

“I love that she was this – I just love that she’s a true believer and that no matter what, you know, who makes fun of her, people tell her she’s crazy, what are you doing, the paranormal, she just stays the course. I love someone who’s that kind of – it doesn’t matter what you think, I’m gonna stay on my course and continue.”

The all-female Ghostbusters reboot is set to be in Philippine theaters on July 15, and it will be available in n 2D, 3D, 4D and IMAX 3D.
