Itchyworms' Jazz Nicolas wins PhilPop 2016 grand prize
MANILA, Philippines – Wally Acolola and The Itchyworms' Jazz Nicolas' song took home the grand prize at PhilPop 2016 on Saturday, July 23.
Wally and Jazz's song, "Di Na Muli," was interpreted by The Itchyworms during for the competition. The two took home a P1 million cash prize for winning.

The first runner-up of the night was Soc Villanueva, whose song, "Lahat," was interpreted by Jason Dy.

In second runner-up was twin brothers Miguel and Paolo Guico’s "Tinatangi," performed by Bayang Barrios and Cooky Chua. Hear Paolo singing the song live below.
The competition's first runner-up and second runner-up won P500,000 and P250,000, respectively.
The winners of PhilPop 2016, an annual songwriting competition, was announced at the Kia Theater. The event was hosted by the boys of "Boys Night Out" and Bela Padilla.
The finals night also featured performances by artists like Ogie Alcasid and Aiza Seguerra, and past winners Thyro Alfaro and Yumi Lacsamana. – Rappler.com
