WATCH: Pixar’s Dory and Woody have a conversation on ‘Ellen’
Ellen and Tom have a 'Pixar-off' in this hilarious conversation between Woody and Dory

MANILA, Philippines – It’s not the Pixar movie cross-over fans have dreamed about, but it’s close enough – if you cover your eyes.

In an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Tom Hanks, who’s working on the 4th Toy Story movie as Woody, asked Ellen if she ever asked kids to close their eyes and then speak like Dory.

Ellen didn’t get to reply, because the two launched into a hilarious conversation as the famous toy and blue tang fish with short-term memory loss.

Tom and Ellen also spoke about their recording session experiences at Pixar, including making “92 different versions of the same line” and taking a bite of an apple to avoid a dry mouth.

The sessions are harder than they seem, said Ellen, to which Tom replied, “Woody is clenched all the time. My diaphragm is always exhausted after those 4-hour, 5-hour recording sessions.”

“I’m always hyperventilating because Dory’s always either left behind or… she’s always out of breath,” replied Ellen, gasping for air.

Toy Story 4 is set to be released in 2018, while Finding Dory was released in June. – Rappler.com
