WATCH: Parokya ni Edgar's 'Lagi Mong Tatandaan' music video
MANILA, Philippines – Parokya ni Edgar has released their newest music video for "Lagi Mong Tatandaan," a song on their upcoming new album!
The video launched on Wednesday, October 5, and features a story apt for its lyrics – a couple breaks up, after a girl decides that she isn't happy with how her boyfriend is treating her.
Vocalist Chito Miranda posted a lyric video for the song in January, saying that he wrote it and simply wanted to let their fans hear it.
He wrote in the lyric video's caption: "Para sa mga kaibigang nagta-tanga-tangahan sa pag ibig at in denial pa rin na hindi na sila mahal ng mahal nila.
(For friends who are stupid in love and are in denial that the person they love doesn't them anymore.)
"Para sa mga matitigas ang ulo na hindi makapag-let go.
(For the hard-headed who can't let go.)
"Para sa mga nagpupumilit ipaglaban ang pag-ibig na hindi naman na dapat ipinaglalaban.
(For those who are struggling to fight for a love that shouldn't be fought for.)
Para sa mga nagmamahal na hinahayaan na i-take sila for granted."
(For those who have loved and let themselves be taken for granted.)
Parokya ni Edgar's 2016 album, titled Pogi Years Old, is set to be released nationwide on October 17.
Before that, Chito, Buhawi Meneses, Darius Semaña, Gab Chee Kee, and Dindin Moreno are set to launch their album on October 14 in Robinsons Galleria Cebu, and on October 16 at Eastwood.
