Jake Cuenca confirms ‘final’ breakup with Sara Grace Kelley

MANILA, Philippines – Jake Cuenca confirmed that he and now ex, model Sara Grace, ended their relationship for the second time. (READ: Jake Cuenca on breakup with Sara Grace Kelley: ‘It just didn’t work out’)

In an interview with Pep, Jake said: “Yeah, we broke up.”

“Nagkabalikan naman kami for about 3 months. Sinabi ko naman—kahit noong nag-guest ako kay Tito Boy [Abunda]—we’re trying. 

(We got back together for about 3 months. I always said – even when I guested with Tito Boy [Abunda] we’re trying)

“This is our second breakup and, I think, this is the final one,” he said. 

Although they have parted ways, Jake said he and Sara Grace still follow each other on Instagram.  

It was Sara Grace, he said who ended the relationship. 

Jake mentioned that distance also played a role in their breakup, as she lives in the US. 

“She will always have a special place in my heart. I know, she feels the same way.

“But ano, e, conflict of interests,” he said.

Jake said that he’s focus on his work and other activities.

“Sabi nga, parang  ne thing I learned in life, kahit artista ka, kahit intact ka sa emotions mo, it’s never good to sit on a problem. 

(As they say, if there’s one thing I learned in life, even if you’re an actor, even if your emotions are intact, it’s never good to sit on a problem)

“You always have to move forward and take challenges to be better,” he said.

Last March, Jake confirmed he and Sara Grace broke up. In June, after receiving his Best Actor award for the film Mulat, she was spotted attending the press conference, where Jake said they were working things out.

Jake is expected to attend the Star Magic Ball this weekend. – Rappler.com
