Kris Aquino, Bimby meet James Yap and Michela Cazzola’s baby boy

MANILA, Philippines – Kris Aquino and her son Bimby finally met James Yap and Michela Cazzola’s baby son Michael James.

On Instagram, Kris posted a photo of her with Bimby and James’ girlfriend Michela Cozzola. In the post, Kris wrote: “There’s no perfect formula for mothering except to do it with LOVE. I am grateful that today we gave our sons the opportunity to meet and hopefully have genuine bonding as brothers. Because in the end, the good men we are able to raise will be products of our guidance and unconditional love as mothers.”

In another photo, Bimby is shown with his baby half-brother. Kris shared how they made the meeting possible.

” I reached out to James and asked if it would be okay for Bimb to meet his baby brother. I prayed a lot for this day to arrive when we’d all be ready, because I just want what is best for my bunso (youngest). Thank you James and Mic for graciously welcoming us into your home. Mic went out of her way to prepare carbonara for Bimb and to bake an Italian chocolate pie for our merienda,” Kris said.

I reached out to James & asked if it would be okay for Bimb to meet his baby brother. I prayed a lot for this day to arrive when we’d all be ready, because I just want what is best for my bunso. Michela also posted a photo of her and Bimby together.

Michela gave birth to Michael James last August. 

During the forum of Ariel’s 100 Fearless Females Summit last October 11, Kris admitted that she got hurt when James did not inform Bimby directly of his new brother. She said they only found out through Facebook. 

“I’m not disparaging them [James and girlfriend Michela] because that was their choice. I want them to be also happy and peaceful, because when there’s peace and happiness in the other side, there’s peace and happiness in your home,” Kris said during the forum. 

“Pero iyon lang. Nasaktan ako because my son deserved to find out, na sana diniretso sa kanya. Hindi dahil nagselos ako na, oh my God, nag-move on, naunahan ako. Hindi. As a mother, you will shelter and shield your child,” she added.
