Baron Geisler's manager Arnold Vegafria, who is a member of the Professional Artist Managers Inc, releases a statement about Ping Medina's complaint

MANILA, Philippines – Baron Geisler’s manager Arnold Vegafria has released a statement following a complaint about his client from actor Ping Medina to the Professional Artist Management, Inc (PAMI).

According to a tweet from ABS-CBN, PAMI president June Torrejon-Rufino said that the group had received a complaint from Ping regarding an incident where Baron peed on him while shooting a scene for a movie.

“We are calling for an emergency meeting to act on the complaint,” said June.

Arnold is the president of ALV Talent Circuit, which manages Baron, and is also a member of PAMI.

In a Facebook message to Rappler through Baron’s public relations manager Tinnie Esguerra, Arnold acknowledged the complaint against his client and said that he would abstain from any decision-making vote when PAMI discusses the issue over the weekend.

Below is his statement in full:

“On behalf of the other members of the PAMI, I gladly acknowledge Ping Medina’s formal complaint against my talent, Baron Geisler.

“While we acknowledge Baron’s behavioral lapses, we do not fully agree with the popular decision that he is the only one who is at fault regarding the controversial incident.

“We will be discussing this issue over the weekend, and I can assure everyone that we will abide by the majority decision.

“Being Baron’s manager, I will abstain from the voting to ensure fairness and impartiality, and will welcome any sanctions that the PAMI will formally lodge against him.”

Ping’s complaint comes in light of his accusations that Baron urinated on him without permission while filming a scene for the film Bubog, by Arlyn dela Cruz.

Both Arlyn and Ping have spoken out about the issue on social media.

Baron himself has spoken on social media, maintaining that he did ask permission from Arlyn and Ping to do something outside of the script, but did not specify that he would urinate on Ping.

Both Ping and Baron’s characters for Bubog have now been recast– Rappler.com
