Jane Oineza talks about relationship with former ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ housemate Kyle Secades

MANILA, Philippines – Jane Oineza is proud to be in a very happy, very real relationship with fellow Pinoy Big Brother alum Kyle Secades.

A year after her breakup with basketball player Jeron Teng, Jane finds herself moving on with a new man. She, however, clarified that she didn’t jump from one relationship to another. According to her, she was single for several months before Kyle came into the picture.

“After moving on, you find yourself and you get to know yourself better. Kung ano yung kailangan mo at saka ‘di rin naman ‘yung naghanap ako, hindi rin. Dumating lang din s’ya. ‘Di ko naman siya kilala before (Whatever you need and I’m not looking for it. It just came. I didn’t even know him before),” she told reporters during the press conference of her new movie Haunted Forest, an entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival.

Jane first confirmed the status of their relationship back in July when she stopped by Tonight with Boy Abunda. Looking back, she shared that she had no hesitations talking about Kyle because she knew that what they have is real.

“Hindi ko naman din tinatago (I was not hiding it) because I know that what we have is real and I know na hindi ako magre-regret (that I won’t regret) to be proud of it,” Jane said.

“Pinaka-important sa’kin yung sinu-support n’ya kung ano yung ginagawa ko hindi sya nagiging hindrance sa career ko. Plus, funny kasi s’ya eh. ‘Yung sense of humor nya, isa yun sa pinakagusto ko.”

(What’s important for me is that he supports what I’m doing and he’s not a hindrance in my career. Plus, he’s funny. His sense of humor is one of the things I like about him.)

Apart from Kyle’s sense of humor, Jane shared that she appreciates how she can truly be herself around him.

“Sarili ko ako pag kasama ko sya walang pretensions. Wala, kahit na weird yung gagawin ko kahit na baliw okay lang, tanggap yung ganun, S’yemrpe kasi minsan nahihiya ka as a girl, di ako pwedeng magkamay, mga ganun, pero s’ya hindi, you can be yourself with him. Mas mahal ka pa nung tao pag ikaw yun.”

(I can be myself when I with him because he has no pretensions. Even if I do weird things, even if I go crazy, he accepts that. Of course i do get embarassed as a girl like I can’t use my hands in eating, stuff like that, but with him, nothing at all. You can be yourself with him.
