WATCH: After emotional breakdown, Sarah Geronimo says no more tears

MANILA, Philippines – One week after her emotional video in Las Vegas went viral, Sarah Geronimo said she will do her best to control her emotions.

In a video posted on the Ash Rick YouTube account taken by Marlon Pecson, Sarah, who was in Chicago last Friday, May 4, addressed the crowd.

“Last time po naging emotional ako dahil nag-panic po ako, kasi wala akong tulog. Tapos, parang nawala ‘yung boses ko,” she told the audience.

(Last time, I was emotional because I panicked, because I did not get any sleep. I was also losing my voice.)

“Diyos ko po Lord, and then naalala ko siyempre ‘yung journey ko, ‘yung humble beginnings namin, pinagdaanan. Siyempre lahat po tayo may battle sa buhay. So nagpatong-patong lang po,” she continued.

(Oh my God, and then of course, I remembered my journey, our humble beginnings, what we went through. Of course, all of us have battles in life. So they all just piled up.)

“Pero wala pong iyakan ngayon. Bawal. Pangit, nanu-news tayo eh. Naba-bash tayo masyado,” she added, drawing cheers from the crowd.

(But no more tears tonight. Not allowed. It’s not nice, I end up in the news. I also get bashed too much.)

Sarah then shared the reactions she’s gotten, including the ones from people who claimed she was taking things for granted.

“Mawawala din ito ano…. go lang!” (This will all go away eventually…. I’ll just keep going!)

During the Las Vegas concert, Sarah opened up about the constant struggle to be “perfect” in the industry, adding that she felt “empty.” (READ: Sarah Geronimo gets emotional, frank at Las Vegas concert)
