It's over for Gabbi Garcia, Ruru Madrid love team
MANILA, Philippines – GMA 7 actress and singer Gabbi Garcia confirmed that her tandem with Ruru Madrid is finished.
The "All I Need" singer issued the statement via Twitter on Tuesday, May 22.
"I honestly learned a lot from the past years, may it be personal/work," she wrote. " I got to know myself better on how to handle situations, and how to managemy emotions as well. Strength and self-worth indeed."
"For that, I would like to thank everybody who supported GabRu for 4 years. It has been a great journey filled with endless learnings and love. your presence and support were unquestionable, and I never felt alone all throughout the journey."
Gabbi said that while some fans may feel bad about the breakup of the loveteam, she still hoped for their understanding.
"I do hope we spread peace and positivity, and remain happy for the success and future projects of each one. I hope that this clears the mind of everybody who's asking about this."
Fans of the tandem recently accused Gabbi over the breakup of the loveteam. In a tweet, the Encantadia actress said: "I just don’t see the point. Why always put the blame on me?"
Gabbi and Ruru's tandem started when they starred in the shows My Destiny and Let the Love Begin. The two also starred as Sang'gre Alena and Ybrahim in the 2016 version of Encantadia.
The two were last seen in the show Sherlock Jr. – Rappler.com
