Thank You!! #SUPREME #KZatMOAArena #SupremeKZTandingan ——————————————- A year ago, my dad told me, “nak, the Lord revealed to me na you will have a solo concert in one of the biggest venues in the Philippines” —- i looked at him in disbelief and we both laughed. Fast forward to this year, I called and told him the news about the concert. He said “DIBA I TOLD YOU, THE LORD CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE WITH A SNAP OF HIS FINGERS, IT DOESN’T MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN YOUR LIFE NOW, HE WILL MAKE THE IMPOSSIBLE HAPPEN”.. Thank You Lord!
At the press conference for the concert, KZ admitted she was still adjusting to the idea of being called "Asia's Soul Supreme."
The singer admitted she was still nervous since Supreme is set to be her biggest concert since winning X Factor Philippines. She previously headlined Soul Supremacy, a mini-concert, in 2017. She has also performed in various other concerts.
"I'm just hoping sana yung mga tao suportahan nila yung concert... Nakakapressure po but at the same time I'm very very excited na mapakita sa isa sa mga pinakamalaking concert venues ng Pilipinas kung ano ang kaya gawin ni KZ."
(I just hope people support the concert. It's a lot of pressure but at the same time, I'm very very exciting to show what KZ can do, and at one of the biggest concert venues of the Philippines, no less.)
The "Labo" singer said that she will be performing a mix of previous songs, old songs with a twist, and new songs that fans have yet to hear.
The concert will also be the first time for KZ to sing with her boyfriend, musician TJ Monterde. The singer had to convince TJ to be part of the concert because usually, he'd shy away from performing alongside her.
"I get to share this milestone with him," she said after he finally agreed.
Aside from TJ, KZ will also be performing Cornerstone Entertainment brothers and sisters including Moira dela Torre, Kyla, Daryl Ong, and Jason Dy. More surprise guests await those who will watch.
KZ last year released her second album Soul Supremacy, featuring the song "Labo." She also covered the Air Supply classic "Two Less Lonely People in the World," for the movie Kita Kita.
