MANILA, Philippines – The premiere of Queer Eye season 2 is right around the corner, and for fans of the show, it can’t come soon enough – especially now that the season 2 trailer is out, hinting at another 8 episodes of unlimited feels courtesy of the Fab 5.
The first season of Queer Eye saw the stars transforming the lives of (mostly straight) men in all areas – from interior design, to food, to fashion. But the series – a reboot of an early 2000s hit – soon proved to be more than just a makeover show, as it touched upon all kinds of social issues, such as homosexual identity, immigration, religion, and police brutality.
Based on the trailer, viewers can look forward to more of that in season 2, especially since the Fab 5 – Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, and Jonathan Van Ness – take on a more diverse roster of Queer Eye heroes that includes a woman, an immigrant, and a transman.
The new season continues to bring the Fab 5 all over Georgia (they even wind up in a town called Gay), where they transform not only the heroes, but communities too. The stars also experience all sorts of personal breakthroughs – so viewers can also expect a lot of feel-good tears from the Fab 5 themselves.
