Kris Aquino on Herbert Bautista: We are best friends
MANILA, Philippines – Actress and TV host Kris Aquino thanked Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista despite making a promise not to mention his name on her social media account, and had netizens talking along the way.
On Wednesday, April 23, Kris posted on Instagram a photo of boxes of Gatorade given by Herbert after she mentioned on Aquino & Abunda Tonight that she was admitted to the hospital due to dehydration Tuesday afternoon while taping for her show KrisTV.
“I got home & saw all the Gatorade waiting for me. Thank You HB! (Sorry I broke my rule about not mentioning him in my IG account.),” Kris wrote as part of her caption
She also took the opportunity to clarify reports that they are no longer dating.
"We're not a "couple" but we are the BEST OF FRIENDS. And in this uncertain world, we're sure to be FRIENDS FOR LIFE. That's actually what we started as, it's where we are most comfortable being, and for whatever tomorrow may still bring, true & lasting friendship is always the best foundation...” the caption continued.
“May I quote my favorite song? ‘Thanks to you for teaching me how to live, putting things in perspective. Teaching me how to give, and how to take, no mistake...’ I grew up a lot this 2014 & he had a big role in what I am today. #noregrets #stillbelieveinlove #someday GOOD NIGHT.”
Kris recently confirmed that she and the Quezon City mayor were dating after the latter personally asked permission from her brother President Noynoy Aquino and sisters if he could date her. At the time, Kris said that they were a “work in progress.” – Rappler.com
