Lovi Poe on Rocco Nacino: ‘He’s special to me’

MANILA, Philippines –  Actress Lovi Poe said that she’s happy that she finally got to share a part of her life with fans after admitting that she and actor Rocco Nacino are a couple.

“I got to share a part of me sa mga taong sumusuporta sa akin.  Madami ang nag-tweet sa akin. Natuwa naman sila.  I felt good about it,” she said in an interview with Pep.

(I got to share a part of to the people who supported me. Many tweeted me. They are very happy.)

The actress also said that it was the first time that she talked about her relationship, saying she that she prefers to keep things private.

On Saturday, July 6, Lovi confirmed that she and Rocco were officially a couple during a guest appearance in Startalk.

In the interview, host Lolit Solis asked if indeed that they were officially together.

“You know what, he’s special to me. Oh my God, I’m so confused,” she said laughing.

“I have to say that yeah, he’s special to me so whatever you guys think… basta special siya sa akin (he’s very special to me), ” she said trying to avoid answering the question.

But eventually, she finally confirmed that she was in a relationship with the GMA – 7 actor.

“I’m gonna say it… Yes!” Lovi said, which earned a cheer from friend Heart Evangelista, who was watching backstage.

Lovi said that there’s no point in hiding the relationship, since photos of them together being cozy are on her Instagram account.

Prior to Rocco, Lovi admitted that she and ABS-CBN actor Jake Cuenca were a couple. 

Meanwhile, in separate interview with Pep, Rocco said that he’s very “happy and kilig,” over Lovi’s admission.

According to the actor, they never discussed heir relationship publicly. 

Rocco was previously linked to GMA-7 actress Sheena Halili. Although they were seen at various events, they never officially admitted they were together.

Lovi and Rocco first met when they appeared together on the show Love Bug on GMA-7. They also worked on the drama Titser, which aired on GMA News TV. They last starred  in the drama primetime Akin Pa Rin Ang Bukas where they played husband and wife.  – Rappler.com
