Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling expecting first child – reports

MANILA, Philippines – Sorry Ryan Gosling fans, it seems he’s about to become a father.

The actor’s girlfriend Eva Mendes is pregnant, according to People.  It will be the first child for the actors, who began dating in 2011.

It was not mentioned as to how far Eva is along her pregnancy, but Ok Magazine, which first broke the story, says that she is 7 months pregnant.

E! Online has also confirmed the pregnancy news, citing one source. 

The couple has tried to keep their relationship low profile, not often answering questions about their love lives. The two previously worked together in the 2012 drama The Place Beyond the Pines, and recently collaborated on Ryan’s directorial debut Lost River, which premiered in Cannes this year. 

Talk show host and actress Ellen DeGeneres tweeted a congratulatory message to the couple via her verified Twitter account, which appeared to confirm the news, but reps for the actors have not given any statements.

Skeptics (and die-hard Ryan Gosling fans), however, are choosing to reserve judgment on whether they’ll believe these pregnancy rumors, as Eva and Ryan faced breakup rumors earlier this year. And according to E!, the couple hasn’t been photographed together in over a year.
