Anne Curtis asks for prayers as father undergoes operation

MANILA, Philippines – Actress Anne Curtis took to Twitter on Monday, September 15, to ask her fans to pray for her father, James Curtis-Smith, who is in the hospital for a heart operation.

Anne’s sister Jasmine also tweeted to her followers and thanked them for their kind words for their father.

On Friday, Anne posted a photo of her father, who is resting in bed at the hospital.

“While waiting for his big operation tomorrow gave him some heavy and deep literature for reading material. He lasted 5 minutes. Haha. Love you Daddy. So much,” the caption read.

Prior to the operation, Anne posted a #ThrowbackThursday photo of her and her dad.

“I dedicate my #throwbackthursday post to my daddy. I remember coming home with loads of toys from this vacation. Some I still actually have. Taken during my first trip to Las Vegas in 1989,” the caption read.

Anne and Jasmine’s father has been based in Pampanga, and travels to Manila as much as he can to see his two famous daughters.

Anne was recently seen in the dark comedy The Gifted with Sam Milby and Cristine Reyes. – Rappler.com
