Bench founder Ben Chan addresses controversial Coco Martin 'Naked Truth' issue
MANILA, Philippines – After negative comments from netizens surrounding a part of the recently concluded September 20 Bench Naked Truth underwear show, Bench founder Ben Chan has released a message to the public via his personal Instagram account.

The photo was captioned, “A PERSONAL MESSAGE.”

Netizens and political figures said that the act was degrading and derogatory to women, although others defended it, saying it was all part of the concept.
Senator Pia Cayetano previously called out the brand about the incident, saying that she spoke to Ben Chan and that he agreed that his company would issue a public apology.
Days after the show on September 23, the brand Bench posted an apology on Instagram and Twitter for the “offensive elements” of the show that did not sit well with audiences. That apology, however, appears no longer available for public viewing. – Rappler.com
