For Nikki Gil, 2014 is ‘year of healing’

MANILA, Philippines – Actress, TV host and singer Nikki Gil still won’t divulge details about her new relationship with a non-showbiz guy – only that she’s currently doing well. 

“Baka maudlot e,” Nikki told Pep during an interview for one of her endorsements. “Pag confirmed na confirmed na at saka ko itsitsika.”

(It might not push through. If its already really confirmed, that’s when I will talk.) 

She added she wants to respect the guy’s family since they are private people. 

Of her relationship now, Nikki said: “We’re sharing a very healthy friendship, healthy relationship. 

“Definitely, we’re serious.” 

Nikki was in a relationship with singer-actor Billy Crawford for 5 years, but the two broke up last year. Billy is now happily dating It’s Showtime host Coleen Garcia.

For Nikki, 2014 was a steady and calm year.

“It was a year of healing and then a lot of processing for me.

“And of course, work, parang work has become very therapeutic for me. And I spent a lot of my 2014 working.”

Aside from Myx, Nikki is wrapping up the movie My Big Bossing starring Vic Sotto, which is an entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival this December. – Rappler.com
