Stars take to social media as Typhoon Ruby hits PH
MANILA, Philippines –Wth Typhoon Ruby (international name Hagupit) now in the country, celebrities took to their social media accounts to remind their followers to stay safe and be prepared for emergencies.
Dingdong Dantes retweeted MovePH’s call for volunteers to help gather information during the typhoon. His fiancee, actress Marian Rivera, posted a list of emergency hotlines.
“Stay safe this weekend and track updates about Typhoon Ruby. God Bless everyone,” she wrote.
Angel Locsin posted weather updates and a message from the Philippine Red Cross Chairman Richard Gordon.
Kris Aquino posted prayers on her Instagram account.

The Voice of the Philippines coach Apl de ap tweeted his prayers for the country.
Fashion designer Rajo Laurel meanwhile reminded everyone to stay safe.
"Good Morning! Everyone please be careful," Rajo wrote.
Iza Calzado on the other hand posted updates of families from evacuation centers from Red Cross.
