Nicole Kidman comments on awkward failed date with Jimmy Fallon

MANILA, Philippines – They were the ones who got away, if only they both realized it. Nicole Kidman reacted on her failed date with Jimmy Fallon, when they reminisced about meeting years ago in his apartment in New York City.

Jimmy and Nicole were both set up on a date through a mutual friend, and when this was brought up during her guest stint on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy hid under his desk in embarrassment after he realized that what he thought was a meeting turned out to be a possible date.

In an interview with Associated Press, she said that she wasn’t trying to seduce the talk show host. “I don’t know if seduction is part of my repertoire. I think I was more just kind of open to the idea, which never eventuated, so …” 

She said the reminiscing was not only unplanned, but the results of it were awkward for the both of them. “…As I said, I’ll probably never be asked — I’ll never go back on the show. No, just joking,” she said. “Yeah, it was awkward. The whole thing was awkward. But anyway.”
