Watch Maroon 5 crash real weddings in new music video
'We're gonna drive across LA and hit every wedding we possibly can,' says frontman Adam Levine

MANILA, Philippines – Newlyweds got the best surprise of all when Maroon 5 decided to crash weddings for a day to film a music video for their new single “Sugar.” The video was released January 14.

The music video was filmed on December 6, 2014, and with the help of Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin, the band drove across Los Angeles and surprised different couples at their receptions.

Adam Levine announced the wedding crash at the start of the video, saying, “We’re gonna drive across LA and hit every wedding we possibly can.”

Crew members randomly entered into the event and set up a big white sheet. The band then came in from the back entrance and hid behind it, before they were revealed to stunned guests.

“I had no idea I would be affected by the overwhelming reactions we received from the couples and guests. Being able to create an unforgettable experience for several people was the highlight of it all,” Adam told Rolling Stone.

“Sugar” is the third single from Maroon 5’s new album V, following first and second singles “Maps” and “Animals.” – Rappler.com
