Saab Magalona and Jim Bacarro get married in Baguio City

The couple wed before family and close friends. Saab’s sister Maxene was the Maid of Honor. Miss World 2013 Megan Young and sister Lauren are among the  9 bridesmaids.

Saab’s brothers Frank, Elmo and Arkin were groomsmen.

Saab wore a dress by designer Sassa Jimenez, while Jim wore a suit by Ziggy Savella. The bridesmaid dresses were done by Eric delos Santos.

Tim Yap congratulated the couple.

 “16 hours of air and land travel just to be able to have the honor of hosting your special day. Congratulations @saabmagalona & @jimbacarro! #jimsaabsavetheworld.”

Saab’s brothers also gave a surprise performance at the reception.

Designer Sassa Jimenez posted photos of the bride.

The couple entered the reception to the tune of the Star Wars theme complete with light sabers.

A library card is the inspiration for the couple’s menu.

Makeup artist  Jigs Mayuga shared Saab’s look for the wedding.

The couple’s friend Nyko Rodriguez posted this: 

 Sister Maxene called Saab “the most beautiful bride you will ever see.”

Last March, Jim proposed to Saab while they were vacationing in Japan. Saab thanked her husband-to-be via Instagram post for asking the question in her dream destination.

Saab is the daughter of the late OPM rapper Francis Magalona and Pia Arroyo. She is known for her role in TV 5’s Lipgloss and has appeared in various shows in GMA 7. She is a known blogger and sings with Jim in the band Cheats. –Rappler.com
